Since 2001 my work has allowed me to visit some of the most interesting areas of the world.  I have worked in Iraq as a freelancer living in the private sector of Baghdad and also as an embedded journalist with the military.

It is with my sincere thanks to my Pakistani and Afghan friends I am able to continue to work in Afghanistan, Kashmir, and the tribal area's of Pakistan where very few ex-pats dare to venture.  I also had the privilege to work in Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Liberia. 

I always strive to work with the utmost respect for the culture of those I am photographing.  I work quietly, gently and with compassion for those who give me the great gift of allowing me into their lives.

Three years I co-founded a non-profit organization called Fifty Lanterns International.  Through the generosity of donors and with the support of a great Board of Directors, I am able to provide solar lighting to those most in need which include areas of war and conflict around the world.
